Crew for A Land out of Time
Mark Harvey, Producer/Director
Mark Harvey is a native of Colorado
and spent much of his youth hiking,
climbing, and rafting in the Rocky
Mountains. He taught for the National
Outdoor Leadership school for several
years, leading trips in Wyoming, Mexico,
and Chile. His book, The National
Outdoor Leadership School's Wilderness
Guide, won the National Outdoor
Book Award in 2000. Harvey has
worked as a writer, photographer,
and filmmaker, winning the Aspen ShortsFest
in 2003 for his documentary short
on composer Ray Vincent Adams. He
has served on various boards, including High
Country News, Aspen Center for
Environmental Studies, and Ecoflight. He
currently resides in Basalt, Colorado.
Laurel Garrett, Co-Producer/Writer
Laurel co-produced and co-wrote A
Land out of Time. She hails from
Lexington, Kentucky, where she practiced
law for many years in the areas of corporate
finance, mergers and acquisitions. Jumping
off the career track in 2002, she has
been living and writing non-fiction
in Wyoming and Colorado. She has
been active in environmental and land
use issues for many years. A
Land out of Time is her first
film.

Greg Poschman, Director of
Photography
Greg Poschman has been awarded three
national Emmys for his work as a director
and cameraman, including The A&E Special Sting:
Songs of Sacred Love (2004), The
Disney Channel’s Letters From
Africa (1998) and ESPN’s Expedition Earth
(1990.) Other awards include a
Best Mountain Film prize for National
Geographic Explorer’s Avalanche! at
the Banff Mountain Film Festival. For

Edgar Boyles, Cinematography
An Emmy award winning cameraman & Director
of Photography, Edgar Boyles films features,
documentaries and commercials in in
all film and video formats. A mountain
pilot, based in Aspen, Colorado, Edgar
also provides location scouting through
out the Western Region and his specialties
include skiing, mountaineering, kayaking,
and aerial photography. Edgar
has 30 years of experience filming in
mountainous and remote locations.

Scott Davis, Editor
Scott received a BA film at the University
of Colorado and his editing work includes
trailers, sports highlights and outdoor
field series, including the Outdoor
Life Network Dream Hunts series
produced by Benelli. He produced
and edited the Adam Ford Swiss Ball
Training Series of instructional DVDs
